The Coat of Arms on Calendar for 1947

Picture of the calendar for 1947, published in “Nova Makedonija” a few days before the new year. The shape of the Coat of arms is transitioned from the original from the Law of Arms to the final version that will survive from 1947 to 2009 when the five-pointed star was removed.
Article 3 of the Constitution of 31.12.1946 defines the coat of arms of the People’s Republic of Macedonia. The text is the same as that of the Coat of Arms adopted 6 months earlier, with the exception of the text “N.R. Macedonia” that was removed from the ribbon.
