International Heraldry Day

The International Heraldry Day, 10 June, this year  2023 was celebrated again after 3 years pause due to Covid19. Macedonian Heraldic Society begun the celebration when the Board of  MHS layed flowers at the monument of the Hrsitofor Zhefarovic (+1753), considered as the first heraldrist in Macedonia and wider Balkan.

Later two lectures were held.  Vice-President and Vadar Herald, Ivan Nacevski: Coats of arms of Macedonia in Western European medieval sources – new insights. And President and Chief Herald, d-r Jovan Jonovski: Coat of arms of Archiepscopos (Archbishops) of Ohrid.

The celebration ended with a modest cocktail party.
